Five On Friday

Hey y'all! Just stopping by for a quick Five On Friday. I have been so uninspired in the blog department lately which is partially to blame for my absence. The fact that I have been unbelievably busy is the other reason I have been MIA, things have been crazy lately! Anyway, I am joining Darci & the girls to talk about 5 random things that are on my mind and you should to!

{one} I know I already shared this sneak peek of our maternity pictures but I am so obsessed I am sharing it again! I seriously can't wait to see the rest, let's just say there was water and snakes involved. You will just have to tune back in to see if that story is as crazy as it seems!

{two} I have my first baby shower tomorrow! This is the one for Paul's side of the family so it will just be a nice, small get together hosted by my incredible sister-in-law's! How gorgeous is this invitation?! They know me so well, I can't wait to see how the shower turns out.

{three} Today is a very important day for someone very close to my heart. I can't share details but if you are one of those people who don't mind sending up a prayer for a stranger she could really use the extra's {couldn't we all}! 5:00 cannot come fast enough!

{four}I don't remember where I saw this but it is so perfect! Our sweet girl is moving non stop these days and every little move {even the painful ones} is such a blessing! I know the hormones are partially to blame but sometimes I get so overwhelmed with how in love I am with her already that I tear up. I can't imagine what it will be like when she is actually in my arms, so excited!

{five} Speaking of Miss Nora.. Yesterday when me and my sister were Easter dress shopping I couldn't help but get excited about next Easter! Not that I am wishing time away but thinking of our little family in coordinating outfits and tiny's first Easter basket makes me all kinds of giddy!! I mean how stinkin cute is this little dress!

29-31 Week Bumpdate + A Sneak Peek!

Oh my gosh I can not believe how slack I have been in the blog department lately! It has been too long and so much has happened but I will be honest this is probably how it will be for quite a while. Pretty much every week/weekend until baby girl gets here is jam packed with baby showers, bridal showers and all kinds of other fun stuff. So blogging will unfortunately be taking a backseat. But I did have time to stop by for a quick bumpdate and a sneak peek of our amazing maternity shoot we had yesterday!

Baby Size: I can tell she is huge, I can always feel where she is in my belly. It's so funny when she stretches and you can see her on both sides of my belly!

 

Weight Gain: No weight gain since my last appointment {doctor was completely fine with it}. So pretty much I lost 10 in the first trimester which I have now gained back. And then I gained 4 after that. So up 4 pounds from my pre pregnancy weight.

Maternity Clothes: All bottoms are either maternity or yoga pants. Shirts are still mainly normal with a few maternity.

Stretch Marks: Ugh my stomach looks horrible! The creams did nothing for me. Just hoping some will fade after birth.

Belly Button In or Out: In but getting super closed and flat.

Sleep: Seriously thanking the Lord for the fact that I slept much better last week. I was getting so frustrated with not being able to sleep. I am still getting up 3x to pee but can usually fall right back to sleep.

Best Moment This Week: Major nursery progress and our amazing maternity shoot!

 

Worst Moment This Week: Just having a lot of soreness. I obviously am sleeping on my side so the weight of my belly pulling down makes me very sore. And whatever side I am sleeping on is also very sore, pillows help but I still wish I would've got a pregnancy pillow.

 

Miss Anything?: Missing having clothes that fit and getting a good nights sleep..

 

Craving: Slaw dogs. Lol how weird is that?! I have always loved them but not as much as I do right now.

 

Queasy or sick?: Knock on wood my acid reflux has eased off so the queasiness has too.

 

Symptoms: Just the soreness. My mood swings have been a little worse too lately, sorry Hubby!
 

Looking Forward To: My first shower this weekend!!!!

 

Mood: Tired but happy {at the moment}!

 

Movement: Oh how I love my little squirmy worm! She moves all the time and I am so in love with it. It was so funny, Paul laid on my stomach last night talking to her and she kicked the fool out of his head. We laughed so hard, she is so sassy!

 

Doctors Appointments: We have started our bi-weekly visits {eek!} and everything still looks great! I can not believe we are in the single digit week countdown, so crazy!!
