Today I decided since my wedding was pre-blog, that my throwback would be a few of my wedding pictures. Seeing all of the soon-to-be brides and newlyweds constantly has me looking back on my own special day! There were so many things that didn't go the way they were supposed to but it was still the most amazing day of my life! My biggest advice for all you bride-to-be's, don't sweat the small stuff! I promise it will not matter after the fact.

Sorry if that is a little picture overload! Now it's your turn!

So What Wednesday

Hey y'all. Sorry I have been so slack on the blogging lately, I have just NOT been feeling it. I am hungry & sleep deprived which does not leave any room for coming up with a witty blog post. However my mood is perfect for a "So What Wednesday" link up!

So what..if my lunch consisted of a grilled cheese and a very large slice of strawberry cake.

So what.. if I fell asleep for about 2 minutes while sitting at my desk.

So what..if we have ate out every night this week because I am too lazy to cook.

So what.. if I am watching Grey's Anatomy for the 23452th time from the beginning.

So what.. if the temperature varies 20 degrees in one week, I mean that's Georgia's job right. #sarcasm

So what.. if  I have left Nora's stroller and car seat sitting in the middle of my living room because I like to stare at it.

So what.. if I can't wait to go home and take a nap, growing a person is exhausting!

So what.. if I am trading a photo shoot for a hair cut. That's just smart business!

So what.. if I am out of things to say so what to!

Well that was fun! Don't forget to come back tomorrow and link up for day 2 of the Throwback Thursday link-up!

Five On Friday

Happy Friday y'all! I am linking up with Darci & the girls for Five On Friday. I really do love this link-up, it is such a good way to round up all your thoughts for the week!

1} I hate to start this out on a gloomy note but when you say your prayers tonight, how about sending one up for our little family! Nothing major going on just hitting a few bumps in the road. I am just putting my faith in God to get us through.

2} My Nanny called me yesterday and told me she wanted to buy our travel system! As hard as it is not having my Mom here during this pregnancy, it makes it a little easier knowing I am blessed with such amazing Grandparents. So these pretty red babies should be making their way to our house within the next week! One huge thing checked off of our list!

3} On a brighter note, I started my own link-up yesterday. Now Thursdays around here will be Throwback Thursdays! I would love for you to join me next Thursday!
{anyone have any idea why this came out looking so grungy on here?, it's bright on my desktop}

4} Nora's baby book finally got here this week! Due to all the horrible weather it took a little longer to make it here but it was well worth the wait. If you ever need a baby book you should really check out The Sweet Rhino! {Sorry these pictures are so crappy, I just snapped a couple of the pages to send my sister}
5} We are visiting a new church on Sunday! The church we go to now is my home church, in my hometown which is an hour away from where we live. Up until this point I have refused to even consider finding a church closer because I love my church and Sundays are when we get to see all of my family. But with the baby coming and the cost of gas, I finally agreed to at least give it a shot. I have prayed and prayed for God to just give me the direction to do the right thing so we will see how it goes!

Well that is it for me today, sorry for the total up & down post. That is kind of a glimpse into the daily hormonal rollercoaster that goes on inside my preggo self! Y'all have a good weekend!

Throwback Thursday: My First Link-Up!

Hey y'all! So I decided to give this whole link-up thing a shot. I have always loved seeing the Throwback Thursday posts on social media and I know there used to be a tbt link-up but the blog that hosted it doesn't do it anymore. So I decided I would try and bring it back!

There aren't really any rules, just post throwback pictures (or a TB story) of whatever you want and grab the button to link back to my blog! I really hope y'all will join in and maybe I can keep it going

Since I am so late posting this today I am just going to do one Throwback picture. This is throwing it wayyyyy back to my pageant days as a little bitty! I can't wait til Nora gets old enough to do little pageants like this, no toddlers and tiaras for us.

As far as I'm concerned your throwback can be from 20 years ago or from yesterday so link up and let's see it! And if you have any issues please let me know!

Five On Friday: XO

Happy Valentines Day y'all!

 I have to admit I am not a huge Valentines Day person. I am not a total scrooge it's just one of the holidays I can take or leave. I am very blessed to have a husband who shows me how much I mean to him year round and hopefully he feels the same way! That being said, I won't be mad if I get the new Eric Church cd today ;).

To be honest I look forward to the Valentines Days when our babies are old enough to enjoy it. My Mom had a way of making holidays so special for us even the little ones like Valentines. She would always let us pick out a new shirt or dress to wear, buy us a small gift and help us make valentines for our class at school. Those memories mean so much to me and I hope to make the same kind with my kids!

As usual I am linking up with the Five on Friday ladies today! I will be throwing in a few pictures from a styled V-day shoot we did last year. Funny story, we got that shoot for free because a fellow photographer friend needed "models" to advertise her V-day mini sessions so we wore what she asked us too, explaining Paul's out of character fedora and my red lipstick lol. He hates these pictures because of that hat!

1} #TeamTeddy: When I heard about Teddy I couldn't escape the aching in my heart. I have always had a huge soft spot for kids especially those with diseases/special needs. But I guess expecting my own child has made that soft spot grow x100. I can not imagine looking at my sweet baby knowing that I only had a few years with them. Knowing that I would not get to see them experience their first day of school or possibly even their 5th birthday all because of a disease. Teddy is a little boy who has been diagnosed with a terminal disease called Menkes Disease or "Kinky Hair Syndrome" and although there is very little hope for Teddy, his parents desperately want parents to be aware that if it is caught early enough there is a treatment plan. As I read Teddy's Story  my heart broke for his family and parents but I also came to admire their strength. I can not even begin to imagine what it would feel like to look at my baby knowing that each day could be his last but I do believe that God can work miracles. So today I am sending extra love & prayers up for this precious boy and his family!

* I have seen lots of posts all over social media listing all the things people love about their significant others so I thought I would jump on board!

2} First and foremost I love how much he loves our daughter! She isn't even here yet and he makes it so apparent how much he loves her. Every single day {as many times as I will let him} he lays his head on my stomach and tells her how much he loves her and how excited he is to meet her. And he never leaves without telling both of us how much he loves us. I always heard that your love for your husband grows even stronger when you have children and I can already say my love for him has grown tremendously in the past 5 months and I am sure it will only continue to grow!

3} He would go to the end of this world to provide for our family. Since we have been together he has worked jobs that kept us apart {due to travel}, jobs that were pretty much physical torture on him {he broke his back and had back surgery in high school} and one that he just really hated {we will just leave it at it involved goats} all to provide for our family. I am so thankful to have a hard working man that will do whatever it takes to provide for his family. The song "Loved By A Workin Man" by Pistol Annies was totally playing in my head the whole time I wrote this one.

4} He loves me. This one may seem like a cop-out but it really is the most important. Loving someone and have them love you back is truly the best feeling in the world. {I know that was on a movie but I can't remember which one} He loves me despite my flaws, hormonal outbursts and newfound stretch marks. The way he looks at me makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, it amazes me that he doesn't even see the 126 flaws that I see when I look at myself! I love how much he loves me!

5} No matter how many times I have asked, he will still dress up in uncomfortable clothes and funny hats for the sake of a photo shoot all because he knows I love them. Sure he may complain and may not smile in every single one but deep down I think he loves it!

Well there you have it, my mushy gushy Valentines post!
